Generalist Officer Pay Scale:
Scale of Pay for Scale -II Rs. 31705 -1145/1-32850 -1310/10 – 45950 (Subject to revision).

Scale of Pay for Scale -III Rs. 42020 –1310/5 –48570 –1460/2 –51490 (Subject to revision)

The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A / Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances etc in a Metropolitan center & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist officers in Scale II and Scale III Eligibility:

Nationality/ Citizenship: 
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st  January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) as above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him

Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist Officers In Scale II And Scale III ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA:-

For MMGS Scale –II: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with knowledge in computers.

Passing of JAIIB and CAIIB is desirable. 

Professional qualification like MBA (Finance) /CA/ICWA/CFA/FRM/ from a recognized University/ Institution/ Board  recognized  by  Govt.  Of India / approved by Govt.  Regulatory bodies are desirable.

The minimum marksshall be 60% in Bachelor’s degree in the aggregate of all semesters/ years. 

Experience (as on 01.04.2019) : Post qualification Work Experience of 2 years as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank.   

Experience in Credit related areas / Branch Head / Incharge is desirable.

For MMGS Scale –III:

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with knowledge in computers.

Passing of JAIIB and CAIIB is desirable. 

Professional qualification like MBA (Finance) /CA/ICWA/CFA/FRM/ from a recognized University/ Institution/ Board  recognized  by  Govt.  Of India / approved by Govt.  Regulatory bodies are desirable.   

The minimum marksshall be 60% in Bachelor’s degree in the aggregate of all semesters/ years.

Experience (as on 01.04.2019): Post qualification Work Experience of 5 years as an officer in   any Scheduled Commercial Bank. 

He / She should have worked in processing credit proposals, Branch Head, Incharge of functional departments, Forex, etc.,    

Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist Officers In Scale II And Scale III Selection Procedure: The candidates shall be required to appear for online examination to be conducted through IBPS.

ONLINE TEST
The  selection  will  be  made  on  the  basis  of  performance  in  Online  Test,  Personal  Interview  and/or GD.
On -line test will be conducted through IBPS/ or any other examiner decided by the Bank and the mode of test will be decided by the Bank.



Bank of Maharashtra Generalist Officers in Scale II and Scale III Examination consisting of Objective Test for 150 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 4 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

The test of Professional Knowledge may consists of banking related questions.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

Candidates qualifying inthe online test will be shortlisted and called for Personal Interview subject to the number of intake in each category.
After Personal Interview, shortlisted candidates in order of merit in written  test and Personal Interview will have to undertake.

- Rs. 100/ + 18 (GST) = Rs.118 - for SC/ST candidates
- Rs. 1000/ + 180 (GST)= Rs.1180-for UR/ EWS /OBC

- PWBD Fee Exempted
