There are 500 vacancies in Generalist Officer-II & III with reservations.

Generalist Officer-II – 400

Generalist Officer-III – 100 

Generalist Officer Pay Scale:  

Scale of Pay for Scale -II Rs.48170–(1740/1)-49910–(1990/10)–69810.

Scale of Pay for Scale -III Rs. 63840 - (1990/5) – 73790 – (2220/2) – 78230.

The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A / Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances etc in a Metropolitan centre & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist officers in Scale II & III Eligibility:

Nationality/ Citizenship: 
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st  January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.  Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) as above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him

Educational Qualification for Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist Officers In Scale II & III:-

For MMGS Scale –II: Bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years (55% for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD). Passing of JAIIB & CAIIB is desirable.

OR

Professional qualification like MBA (Finance) /CA/ICWA/CFA/FRM/ from a recognized University/ Institution/ Board  recognized  by  Govt.  Of India / approved by Govt.  Regulatory bodies are desirable.

Experience: Post qualification Work Experience of 3 years as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank. Experience in Credit related areas / Branch Head / Incharge is preferable.   

For MMGS Scale –III: Bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years (55% for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD). Passing of JAIIB & CAIIB is desirable.

OR

Professional qualification like MBA (Finance) /CA/ICWA/CFA/FRM/ from a recognized University/ Institution/ Board  recognized  by  Govt.  Of India / approved by Govt.  Regulatory bodies are desirable.

Experience: Post qualification Work Experience of 5 years as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank. The candidate should have minimum one-year experience as Branch Manager / Head out of five years. Experience in Credit related areas / In charge of Specialized Verticals is preferable.

Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist Officers In Scale II & III Selection Procedure: The candidates shall be required to appear for online examination to be conducted through IBPS.

Bank Of Maharashtra Generalist Officers In Scale II & III ONLINE TEST
The selection will be made on the basis of performance in Online Test , Personal Interview  and/or GD.

On -line test will be conducted through IBPS/ or any other examiner decided by the Bank and the mode of test will be decided by the Bank.  

Bank of Maharashtra Generalist Officers in Scale II & III Examination consisting of Objective Test for 150 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 4 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

The test of Professional Knowledge may consists of banking related questions. There is no negative marking in online examination

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

Candidates qualifying in the online test will be shortlisted and called for Personal Interview subject to the number of intake in each category.
After Personal Interview, shortlisted candidates in order of merit in written test and Personal Interview will have to undertake.

PROBATION PERIOD: - The selected candidates will be on probation for the undermentioned period of from the date of joining the Bank. There is mandatory provision of executing a service bond by selected candidates.

Generalist Officer Scale II & III:

Probation Period :  6 Months

Bond : 02.00 Lakh

Minimum Service Period : 2 Years

- Rs. 1000/ + 180 (GST)= Rs.1180-for UR/ EWS /OBC
